Opinions please

Seriously disappointed with these numbers from the dyno; I know the numbers dont win races but does this look correct? I added the arh long tubes catted with the x pipe, hennessy intake and slp loudmouth II. I know its an L99 but I expected alot more, perhaps Im reading this wrong??

you got 45hp gain without a tune? Yeah, I say you did pretty damn well.

I got airaid CAI, dynotech catted headders, GM performance exhaust (aftermarket shop said it was basically Borla) and a tune and came out with 350hp and 367 tq. That's a similar install but you got 11 more hp and 13 more tq. I think ya did well. If you wanna pm prices to see if there's a significant difference there I don't mind. Or if you want to put it on the thread, that works for me also... I've just always heard it was impolite to ask.

And yes, mine's a L99 too.

Well, 45+ gain is pretty damn nice with that setup. There still may be some on the table though in your tune.

I had the tuner leave the afm alone; Im going to check some data logs and see what else can be tooled. Any cons on turning the afm off other than fuel? Will I have to get the fuel / air redone?

I paid 400 for the tune, I just needed some outside opinion to ensure I got the most for what I paid. Thanks all.. and any other input is gladly excepted

It may have been sucking in tons of hot air (doesn't matter if you have a fancy cold air intake... because those don't work when the car is sitting still), which ends up pulling a lot of timing out, consequently putting a car down by a sizable chunk of power. I wouldn't worry about it... you got gains over your baseline, and that's all that really matters.

you have to remember...not all dynos read the same...that may be 400 whp on someone else's dynojet. Seriously. You are looking for the 'gain'...the before and after. In that department, IMO, nice job.

You actually have a drop in torque from about 3000 rpm to 3500 rpm. I'm very suprised to see MTI using STD numbers instead of SAE.

Did they tune your transmission too. If, then what did they do and how is working out. I agree with everyone else, nice gains. But the track tells the real story.

Those are pretty decent gains for the modifications...also remember every car reacts a little bit different, people use different or higher flowing air intakes and that Hennessey setup is not really the best on the market. I would not be disappointed at all
