Maybe I'm not looking in the right area, but what do you charge for labor, if I was to get the instal from you guys? Trying to decide if it's worth the drive form CT to there, or if I should just buy the kit and have Jannetty instal it?

You have a tough choice, but luckily either way you go, you're a winner. As a rule of thumb, having a close-by shop is super important when you start modding your car. And Ted is one of the best...
I say get the kit from IPS and let Ted do his magic and his support.

Yeah, guess I'll have to get a hold of Ted for an install/labor quote! Thanks!

Have Ted or your self give me a call at the shop and I can discuss labor time for installation! Its no more then an average supercharger system

Stand on it!

the endtank design is important that scoop is a good idea......though if in the right area it might uneeded.

Impressive numbers....won't this kind of power require axles, rear end, ouput shaft ect. upgrading.

i know you have to pay to play...

Could you Pm me on a Magnacharger swap to the IPS.

and do you do CTS-v's????

8psi....incredible. using a dtec boost by gear and rpm this can be very very streetable...and one would think you might get by with just a tex clutch and a beefier rear end..( harrop)

i personally have had excellent result with the 3076......one on a 2.4 liter easily produced 480 and 490 on a 4 banger
though it was 25 psi. built power early (3500straight through to 6800 before drop off)

I shudder to think the power you'd make with a 3- 3.5 in turbo back exhuast.

when Gm gets on the turbo bandwagon...they will anialate the Germans and Japanese.

We think so as well, and the scoop does force the ambient air across the intercooler allowing better cooling ability.

It will depend on the use of this system. If you are drag racing the car, there are many owners who have had issues with axles , diffs, ect, so power is not the most definitive answer to assuming what powertrain modifications may be necessary. We are glad to consult with you or any other potential buyers on what we may recommend based on your plans with the car.

Ideally I would prefer if you can PM me your information and email address. I like to send out a PDF. estimate that will show accurate line by line pricing and itemization, unlike just a *round about* pm price (I hate that, its not professional sorry for the rant).

Of course, you mean like this

We have had the opportunity to work on several of the new LSA powered CTS-V's, we have dampener and ring kits, heat exchanger kits, Cold air intakes, long tube headers ect. Let me know if you have specific questions with this platform.

Believe it or not the factory clutch has been holding in our two R&D twin turbo cars with some mild drag racing. Obviously there is a disclaimer about how long it may or may not live, but so far so good. The rear differential as well to this point has been fine, however like you already are aware these parts may be problems down the line racing this car.

SRT-4? We have built a few similar to those numbers. The 3076 is a great turbo!

It certainly would not hurt

last i checked (about a week ago), they had a few bids out on some of the parts to get the group buy price even lower. I would say in a few weeks they should have some news.

I will have the post up this Friday/Saturday with the details on the GB.

We are in the middle of moving into a new 34,000 sq ft shop so it has been somewhat difficult to balance production with the move.

The install should be comparable to current super charger kits on the market such as vortech and procharger.

We suggest to installers 15-20 hours depending on their comfort level, maybe faster if you're in a hurry. As much of the system is pre assembled to help lower the labor hours and get more value from the system. If you would like to find out what an out the door installed and tuned price is for a system please PM me and I will send you our packaged estimate.
