How much does a new Camaro actually cost at the dealer?
Hello All,
The reason I am asking is because I am not in the States, and they are not on sale here, so I can't just go and ask. I suppose a few of you might have some experience, so I would appreciate any help or guidance. I know the list price for a 1SS 2011 Camaro is $30,945, but I heard that on some GM models you can get huge discounts, like on the Corvette. But then again, I heard you might actually have to pay more for a Camaro than the list price. So if someone went into a dealership, and wanted to order a new Camaro with a manual and a V8, and be willing to wait for however long it takes to have delivered, what could he/she be expected to pay? Thank you for anyone who can give some pointers. You are welcome to reply here, as well as send me a private message. Thanks! |

Never pay over MSRP. Know what the invoice is for the car you want and try to get around that price, around +400. Get a quote and play dealers against each other to get the lowest price. Make sure they have allocation.
Then order from Camaro Scotty. (I wish I had. I didn't know how great he is with everything from ordering to tracking until I ordered from a local dealer and joined this forum) |

+1,
You should be paying right around invoice plus $100-$500 over. Like S-man says, just talk to Scotty, or BeckyBeckyD@RodgersChevrolet.com, they seem to be doing everyone square deals.

Neither one of us can sell you a car if you live in Europe - we can't export out of the USA
If you are in the military, that's another story - I have done 6 or more deals to people serving oversea's - Last edited by CamaroScotty; 08-11-2010 at 10:40 AM. |

I picked up a new 2011 black LS for $21,990. I went in hearing a lot of stories about not being able to talk them down below MSRP but I managed to talk them down $800 below invoice. It just depends on the dealership, their inventory, and what type of situation they are in.
I came in at the last day of the selling quarter and 2 hours before they closed and drove my car off the lot 30 min after closing. Make it happen people!! |

Sold one to a local Jacksonville Camaro Club member recently as well. I'm sure all dealers can offer a good price, but I fell in love with Beckys two C5 collection
