I told my wife I wanted to decorate one of the big trees in the yard.

Of course she asked why.

Because a ZL1 1LE won’t fit in the living room.

I got “the look”.

I’m sure I’ll come up with something. Or maybe I’ll get something small and save the rest for rear gears lol.

Grats on the retirement. I have a long way to go before I can afford that lol.
Yeah, just figured I would throw some ideas off the top of my head. I can see by your sig that you've already done some great stuff to your ride. Hey, sometimes just saving it up for the big stuff like gears is the better idea.

No worries! This thread is all in good fun.

ADVMax I am sure you got "the look" LOL Mine generally tells me as long as we can afford it she doesn't care. But that generally means we need to be able to afford it twice so she isn't left out of the getting also lol. Makes sense. Now if we can only eliminate the debt and save up $1000s I guess Id be in business ROFL.

That is hilarious!!! Fortunately my wife is not in that category. Retirement is terrific. Buy yourself a project car and stay in the garage 14 hours a day. Sell it and start over. Great therapy.

I got a new Racing jack from Harbor freight, 59 bucks on sale and its light weight very easy to use. I want to get a set of lift pads so IDIOTS don't screw up the rockers every time I take it for tires! In fact I think next time I'm just taking the rims off the car with my NEW JACK then have them changed. Then all I have to do is teach them how to use a tire machine and balance machine so they don't damage my rims. I think I'll save that for Easter.

All the parts that I will be getting next start at $500+ now. Got all the cheaper ones out of the way.

So, since I obviously couldn't get all the cool toys I would have loved to have, I settled on a new FOB for the car since mine is breaking apart. After that I just went off the rails and got a nice Ka-Bar, Cold Steel Recon 1 and a baseball bat lol.
