How often should I do a oil change on my v6 Camaro?

I’m hearing different numbers should I just stick to the booklet?

3k with conventional or 50/50 Dexos blend is what I would do and 5k with full Synth and check regularly for level and top off.

you have a oil monitoring system on your car.....use it....but do not wait until the warning goes off that tells you to change the oil, change it at about 15 - 20%.

I'd run full synthetic. Then, change it every 5-7k miles.

I change mine every 3K with Mobil 1...only takes an hour on a saturday morning, and i get to spend quality time with the car... oil is cheap, major repairs to the motor isn't.

Full synthetic can last over 3k miles, but I'd do it every 3k to be safe.

Amsoil 5W30 when the DIC shows 20%. Usually around 7k or so. Amsoil is rated to 10k but, I won’t wait that long.
