Keith... I'll see if I can find it, but there is an advertisement for a caretaker at a drive through Zoo in Ok... They need some that isn't afraid of Ostrichs... has experience with big birds... etc... I can't remember it all... Hope everything is going good for you up there in the Big D area...

Holy sh!t, man...that's HORRIBLE.
You know, I'd fight that crap right down to the end. You sent back a product, expecting it to be replaced under warranty. You were not told they were going to send you a new one in place of the old one as you DID NOT ASK FOR A NEW ONE IN PLACE OF THE OLD ONE IF THE OLD ONE COULD NOT BE REPLACED...(or did you?) So I'd tell them to take that 25% restocking (rip off) fee and tell them to shove it up their ASS. YOU are the one with the credit card and YOU are the one either allowing or disallowing the charges. YOU call the bank if you did not authorize the charges for a brand new clutch, restocking fee, etc. Tell them you will pay for the shipping of the old clutch back...nothing more, nothing less. If they refuse, call the bank. Deny the charges. Then file a complaint on them with the BBB. One complaint won't change the world, but as they begin to tally up, stuff happens...kind of like a little old shop in Dallas. |

That pretty much blows Kyle.
Definitely stay on them. Send a dispute to the credit card company. ...and on a good note - glad your car is running so well NOW !!! |

...and he really needs a radar detector... I was right behind him and my radar was PEGGED. It was a trap, as the guy was sitting behind a fence just waiting on Kyle.

LIKE>>>>> can you imagin if I snapped a belt....
Then the only logical course of reasoning would be to go to a Beltless system such as this gear driven procharger set up..... and while we are at it..... shit, mine as well get two of them. I actually researched these last week..... not as tempting as I originally thought. Guess its not very streetable... here is an email from Chris Alston, the owner of this company. Chassis Works Single drive $2900 Dual drive $4000 To make work you will need a harmonic balancer with a standard chevy pulley bolt pattern and you will also have to remount your accessories (Water pump, altenator, power steering and a/c). its not really intended for a street style car with these accessories. |
