$#!% I hope not. The Z/28 has given me a feeling I haven't had since I had my GTO. I know the Z/28 will cost more, but hopefully not ZL1 money.

They will keep the ZL-1 as king. In the 60s is was king and today it will be considered the king of camaros.
The stripped Z/28 will flat destroy a stock ZL1 if those numbers are anywhere close.
it is a track car not a street car the ZL1 will be heavy and clumsy in comparison horsepower isn't always everything.

500hp rwhp aftermarket cars spank stock ZL1s easily.

Probably not... The Z28 doesn't really have a competitor as its a stripped (use that term really loosely) track beast. Also this is the lady year of the 5th gen Mustang, we don't even know what ford has planned... The next few years are going to be crazy!!

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but Car and Driver says they spoke to GM who said the Z/28 will be the most expensive Camaro -

"The Z/28 will go on sale later this year, and Chevy plans to take it on a tour of track events starting this spring. Pricing has yet to be announced, but GM told us at the New York show that it will be the most expensive Camaro. "

So, from what I can tell the Z/28 has the reverse mohawk but the SS doesn't?

Since the rear glass is thinner, I imagine that the top is also redesigned and perhaps made with lighter materials.
