Tower strut braces factory vs. Aftermarket
So, I want to add a tower strut brace to my 1ls, but I don't know if I want the factory tower brace for the full GM set or If the aftermarket braces are better. Im open to suggestions for what aftermarket braces are good.

Factory options look the best. If you had a 2010 of early 2011 then you would be stuck with aftermarket due to the strut tower design.

Are you planning on tracking your car? They both work equally as well.

I run 2 catch cans...

They're more for appearance than any handling improvement. If you want to actually improve your cornering ability, install the GM 1LE front sway bar and end links.

I've always thought Factory GM stuff like Z28 intake or 1LE suspension kit was miles ahead any aftermarket?
I'd figure a multi billion dollar company with hours upon hours of testing would have better proven results |

Aftermarket is basically a clone of oem parts with a slight tweak and more colors so they don't infringe on copyright.
