Two different cars totally, the ZL1 is a quick blast seat in the pants because of the SC, the Z28 is a LS7 high reving motor suited for road courses, as many have mentioned it is a non adjustable strut so it is very hard on the street. I personally would take the Zl1 over the Z28 as you can change the rear knuckles and upgrade the front bushings with Billets and with the xtra HP I stay way in front of every 28 I have run across on the track and I ride home in comfort. Zl1Le that's a different story.. Good Luck with your decision..
Ill look into a few other local options first. If nothing else I will make the call elsewhere as I've obviously been getting raped for some time!

Good Lord. I'm paying 820.00 a year on my 12 ZL1. Find an insurance broker that will get you the best price.

And by the way, love my ZL1. Has the handling, ride, and all around goodies that make it such a fun car to drive. If you get a ZL1 you will not be disappointed.

So for the ZL1, what are the easiest mods to get more power?
Same for the Z28?
ZL1 has a better ride because of Magnetic Ride Control. The Magnetorheological shocks are fabulous

Z/28 is also missing sound insulation, has thinner glass, no stereo, sunroof if that matters to you

Why are you getting rid for the Scat Pak? What do you like/dislike about it?

I'm assuming HP Tuners is the most popular tuner for these cars?
Typically first mods to the supercharger is a intake/pulley/tune. This will net you an additional 100 horsepower right off the bat, putting it close to 700 at the crank with very minimal mods.

If that’s not enough, you can do more pulley, headers & e85. Either HP or SCT handheld is used by some vendors.

Don't some Z28s have stereo and ac?

No real reason for getting rid of the challenger. I love the car, makes great power. Im just in the position to be able to spend a bit more on a car. I've always been a gm guy, so wanting to get back into one.

Yes, the stereo and ac were optional.

If you end up buying the red zl1 tell the salesman to take that Kia dealership sticker off the truck before you take it!

I have home and auto combined. Break down is 56.00 per month on my ZL1. In Cludes 500.00 deductible, towing, rental, under insured motorist. I am insured thru Pekin. I use to have State Farm until they kept raising my insurance for no reason.

Yeah I pay $390 a month for my 2016 Challenger, 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan and my 1974 Nova.

That's another car payment!!

I did an online quote on progressive, cheapest is $141 a month but deductible is $2k!

To get a $500 deductible it's $326 a month.
