Dig this!
Love seeing somebody with a SECOND 429ci LS3 Blocked Base. Guaranteed you do it right, you'll be at 610rwhp. Don't ask me or Andre how I know! Congrats on the COTW! Badass to get it while you're still building. Keep up the good work and pics. Ivan @ Southwest Speed |

Short block looks very nice. Can't wait to see how you do at the track.
Wish there was an E85 pump close by where I am now. I would totally do the same thing compression wise. Maybe when I head back up that way I will. |

Oil pan, motor mounts, flexplate on. Need to get a pair of knock sensors (doh) left mine attached to my old shortblock and shipped them away on accident, oh well.
Any progress is good progress. |

Oh im sure they just haven't updated the main page yet. Lots of engine parts should be in this week and next week. Everything to finish the longblock except pushrods (have to measure for length). Stay tuned for lots of pics, & first pics of an actual set of the new small bore ls7 heads from TSP

Brother you are doing one awesome job on that Hot Rod! I plan on starting a similar project around Feb. or so to give me something to do during the break I have planned. The photos of the project have been great and very instructive. I may hit you up for some info when I get started. Again, awesome job !!!

Few shots of the latest TSP package. Head studs/cometic gaskets, oil pan, and misc engine gaskets. Ready for the heads/cam to go on! (Wish they'd show up already!)
Secret squirrel told me Tony Mamo may or may not be busily working on an LS7 fast 102 for this engine as we speak... |

At approx 1:00 into this video, you can see where the rail needs to be notched for the transmission harness plug. Pretty simple
