Unofficial Glass Tech

your first mistake was letting Safelite work on your car.. either you haven't done research or you let your insurance company dicate who gets to work on your car... btw the gap looks ok, i would have to see the other side to make sure.. sometimes on American cars, we have to align the glass either to the interior pillars or the exterior moldings.. sometimes the gaps are so bad that you have to purposely set the glass off center that way it looks right on the inside..

Mine has been replaced and looks the same as your pic. When I had mine replaced my insurance didn't cover it, I have since changed insurance companies. I wasn't given a choice between windshield A and windshield B, there was only one windshield they had to replace my broken one with. If they had one that was better than the other they didn't offer it to me. I think there is a slight bit more gap but everything is fine with the replacement.

Paranoia is real when it comes to your windshield
Holes, gaps, cracks, sealant sinking away...
