Yes i am thankfull that people appreciate it brother but it is just me i guess? In order for someone to truly appreciate it they have to know the reasoning behind it and a little about my father! To me this is the whole rhyme to the reason and it makes me smile that much bigger if i get the chance to tell anyone the reason! Me & my father weren't the closest when i got older but i respected him for himself and who he was, his passion for Chevrolet is who i am today so he lives in myself in a weird sort of way! lol

We all have our reasons why we do what we do, and i believe what others do in life means a lot to them! I am just at a point in my life where i have a very keen understanding of how short life is and i want to honor my pops and enjoy it at the same time!! Who said life wasn't fun should be shot!! lol

I was cleaning some things and looking at the Camaro today and a weird thing came across my mind, in 1968 i won a bike in a Halloween Costume contest by placing second place. And i remember they were going to present the awards (bicycles) during the trophies presentation. Well my father won that night and while i was standing below the flag stand my father waved for me to come up while he was receiving his trophy, and i remember him telling everybody in the stands that night that this is my son & crew chief! Man i cannot even begin to tell you in words how much that meant and felt, i was grinning from ear to ear!

Tim, I think I have an idea you haven't considered...suede ZL-1 style dash liner.

I saw someone else did it, but how? I would if there was a DIY! Also not buying a whole dash!

You have to swap the dash. Somebody did it in the cosmetic section. They can be found on ebay for cheap sometimes

No dash swap for me period, i might be able to have my seat guy make a custom piece for the dash that's glued on but would look like it was made to be there?
