JBA and X-Pipe Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have LT Headers and a full 3 inch JBA competition exhaust with off road mid pipes. Are these consider straight pipes or is there an X-pipe or H pipe in there too? If not, should i consider getting an X-pipe for my set up? Does the X-pipe replace the mid pipes or does it go before them? Not very knowledgeable about xpipes except they can help with low end torque.

Ok thank you! Is that worth switching out for an X pipe or not that big of a difference.

I have the same set up as you and I'm not changing it.. I honestly couldn't tell you if there's much difference.

X-pipe is supposed to help the top end, h usually sounds better.. Had a 3" MBRP LS3 X, too loud & too much drone for me, replaced with an L99 MBRP 3" resonated H and I'm much happier. No dyno comparison but the H and X logged 60-100 mph times with HPTuners are equal at 4.2 sec. on my setup. (same tune)
