The top halves of the reflectors were both burnt and flaking but the bottom halves were OK still. I went with Morimoto's 5k bulbs, pure white. Haven't tried them outside yet, still waiting on the weather

So if the reflector is our current deficiency, then it won't give the full benefit? Like another person in this thread, I tried replacing bulbs and ballasts with not a lot of change. My fogs are bright as hell to make up for it.

LED would be a fully different housing. That would need modification because they only offer them in 3" lenses.
