Auto detailer in Oshawa?

Can anyone reccomend a good auto detailer and hand wash/dry business in Oshawa. Will be coming up this year to the OCC Nationals, BBOMG and Plant tour. After 1100 miles of road grim, I'll want to get the car cleaned up for the weekend. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing. This is a good idea for the location Club to check and see if there can fine a good detailer.

There will be a "wash area" available on GM property for those attending the Chevrolet Camaro Homecoming. We're providing the water, but you'll have to wash it yourself!

Cheers.

If there is enough interest, maybe "The Detailer" can come up to Oshawa.

He is a pro who does all the CCFBG show cars at the Toronto Auto Show and Performance World.

His shop is 50 or so minutes West from the show.

I think they are going to be a lot of us needing a wash. I am driving in from St Louis and knowing the area and time of year, they are a lot of bugs to drive thru.

A body shop guy told me to spray the front of the car down with "pam" or spray cooking oil. Then just wash it off after arriving. It'll keep the bug from sticking. I'm still looking for somewhere or someone to do a detailing for me once I arrive.

Will the PAM not harm the paint?!? I was thinking of wrapping my front end with Saran wrap or something like that and securing it with painters tape.

Thoughts/Comments anyone?!?

painters tape the front of the car.
And carry a clay bar kit with you. when you get to your hotel at 5pm when the sky is a little darker clay the car and get all those bugs out of the paint. obviously clean your car first, there are plenty of touchless/railess washes in the area.
