I installed Proven Wicked end links with the car on the ramps. A little snug, but felt definitely safer than on jack stands. Just need someone to tell you to stop, but you can tell you are close when the second set of wheels start up the ramps. If you have Amazon Prime, I got a little price break and quick, free shipping.

It's your money to waste how you want, like I said it's just my opinion. I'd rather spend my money on something that is really useful. Most things I do with my car the wheels have to come off, so if he needs the ramps just to get the jack underneath I don't see the sense in it.

Misinformation $$
Just wanted to correct some misinformation..
$2500 will buy you an entire Portable Pit Stop from race ramps. but for only $250 - $350 you can buy the 2 piece service ramps which allow you to drive up and remove the rear section of the ramp leaving your car on blocks for easy servicing. You can also save money by buying direct from Race Ramps. |

I have an older set of Rhino ramps and I love them. They don't slide on my smooth concrete floor in my garage. I would never spend $200 or more on ramps, at that point I would make my own out of 2X6 wood.

Yeah we were talking about the Pit Stop. The regular price for Race Ramps all though they are expensive at 2-3 hundred are high quality pieces and are definitely the best of the breed. I'm not scared to use a floor jack and some stands though. |

Like them don't have to put the car on stands, unless you are taking off the tires

Pit Ramps Price Dropped !!
Just to update the info.. Race Ramps announced at SEMA this year that they will be selling the Portable Pit Ramps for much less money now...
Suggested Retail Price: $1995.00 The Portable Pit is very light and can be disassembled and moved in just minutes. The onramp can be moved from the rear to the front allowing drive off. And the car can be left on the "blocks" for easy access if you remove the unneeded ramp pieces. Also the wheel base can be adjusted to car length. http://http://www.raceramps.com/port...stop-ramp.aspx |

I do, and love them. Helps me get the jack under the car. Lowered with Pfadt springs, and have Razzi side skirts.

Ramps are nice for oil changes but you can't use them for breaks or a few other things. Unless you are working on an exhaust all the time or something, make a ramp with some wood

Race ramps are a really nice piece,if you have the money to spend, then spend it...the pitstop is really nice, and if i could still get under a car I sure would purchase it..its something that would really make your life easier at other places besides home, like the track etc....There is always going to be ways to do things on the cheap, just depends on your check book..good luck

Raceramps are terrific, if you want to spend the dough. You can also get used race ramps on their website. Don't know what they cost, but they must be cheaper.
