LLT Nitrous Help

I have a 2011 camaro 1LT/RS with an 80 shot of nitrous, long tube headers w/high flow cats, injen cai, trifecta tune, and slp LM2 exhaust. I went to the track last week and I ended up running a 14.28 with my stock tires (20s). Idk what the problem was and I'm trying to figure that out. I had my trifecta tune uploaded but it was a tune for all the mods and a 125 shot. Do you think the retarted timing from the tune of the 125 shot affect my run when I used the 80 shot? Also my bottle wasn't opened all the way and the bottle pressure was 950psi but wasn't heated at all (this was the first time I've opened the bottle since the last fill up about 3 weeks ago) can anyone help? I also have a tune for all other mods w/ no nitrous. Should I go back to stock configuration and use the 80 shot or use the no nitrous tune + the 80 shot. Help please.

Why didn't you have the bottle opened all the way?when does the Nitrous come on? What rpm do u leave at? Auto or stick?

My friend lost the drive gear to my bottle opener during the last time I got the bottle so I had to use a pair of vise grips to open it. Nitrous comes on at WOT. Leave at about 2800-3000 rpm. Auto transmission

As u know, u need some drag radials, but also u may find u run quicker leaving around 1000 and flashing the converter. But number 1 is getting traction, and going from there.Did u try a pass without the Nitrous! Back in April I ran a 13.1 on 50 shot, so u definitely have an issue. Are you sure it sprayed as that time is more of a NA pass

Yes I did one without nitrous it was 14.8 that's why I believe the timing retard on the tune for the 125 shot affected both of my runs. The system was working fine, no leaks, or anything the only conclusion I'm seeming to come up with is the timing and bottle being partially open. What else do you think would be the problem?

Is this the first time running it with nitrous?Also, double check the jets are not reversed(meaning fuel jet on nitrous side and vice versa). Very well could have been the issue of the bottle not being opened enough. Dont think its the timing being retarded only cause etmx183 ran a 12.x on a 75 shot using his higher shot tune. I would think u should have been 13.x at the very least on 80shot if it actually sprayed. Was this a full bottle when u started that day? Pressure can read 950psi and not have much nitrous in it, especially this time of the year.

IneedAZ is correct on his responses. Also, your not far from Futral....stop in and see them, they can trouble shoot it in a hurry and have you going.

Isn't the first time but it was the first time I took it to the track. I will definitely check the Jets and full system. I wasn't an completely full bottle but wasn't empty either but I'll get a refill today. It's test and tune night at the track so I'll let you know my results tonight. I'll surely contact futral and have them take a look at it.

Good luck...did u happened to log the pass to see where the AFR was? Also, u might want to have someone activate the nitrous switch so it comes on (while bottle closed) and see if u feel/hear the fuel solenoid click on
