Cut belt. Remove bolt. Use puller to remove Pulley. Install pulley. Stretch belt over with prybar or long screwdriver.

10 minutes, tops.
There is a little more to it than that. Especially when people are paying you to do it the correct way.

That is the correct way according to the GM service manual, not including cutting the belt since there is no provision for an underdrive pulley, however for belt replacement, belt cutting is the suggested method.

Only the A/C belt needs to be cut, but you can get it off without doing so.

I would rather have ice cold air and lights that don't dim when my radio is cranked then the 8hp, but if your looking for every last bit of power it's a super easy way to pick up a few hidden ponies.

Point being? Also has little to do with this being a 10 minute job.

I just installed the SLP pulley last weekend. It took about 3 hours to install, because I took my time and made sure everything was done correctly. So far, everything is running as normal, amps are staying around 13-14 amps, just like before. No lights are dimming and the ac is just as cold as it always was.

I'd say for the price and the hp gain that it was a good choice!
