JL Speaker Repair

Anyone know if there is someone out there that repairs JL Audio 10W6 v2 subwoofers? Mine is blown, too good of a sub to just toss.

If it's blown, no. That means the copper winds in the magnet body have broken.
No one takes those apart and rewinds the coil.

If the cone tore, maybe, with a patch. If the surround broke, or tore, some
silicones work.

But if it's the coil, nope...

I’m at a reputable shop that is a licensed JL dealer. They can’t even repair v2 anymore. Having to buy a new one. The factory does refurbish but only current models. I am donating my old sub to the dumpster. Oh well, I should have put the money into a cam in the first place...
