Brake upgrades?

it looks like I may have overheated brake rotors on my 1LE, because now when I'm braking, I feel a slight vibration in the pedal. so i started thinking about replacing the rotors with something better. Yeah, I'd love ZL1/CTS-V conversion, but that's overkill for what I do on the tracks, so I was thinking about some marginal improvements for rotors and pads. any suggestion for reasonable options? or should I just stick with OEM?

(slotted/drilled sure look nice, but I'm not for the look, and I've read that slotted usually collect dirt in the slots, and drilled can develop cracks around the holes, so I'm more for just good braking).

It may be worthwhile to try a set of 2-piece rotors on the front.

Having Hawk Hps pads install on all 4 corners of my SS at Complete Street Performance on Tuesday. I think I'll have the stock rotors resurfaced.

yeah, these look awesome and everything, but for at least 2.5k for set of rotors it's not something I will be doing now.
