Wheel/Tire Fitment Question

Yes, I know this has been discussed many, many times. However, I have gotten to the point where I have done too much reading and have read conflicting stories/views. Thus, I need help.

I purchased the following setup:

wheels -- MRR 228s: 20x10 with 23mm offset, and 20x11 with 43mm offset
tires -- PZeros: 275 40 20 and 315 35 20.

When I went to put them on today I noticed that the rear 20x11 takes up a significant amount of room. Hence my questions:

Does anyone have the same setup?
Has anyone had an issue w/ clearance, rubbing? I
Is a 20x11 too large for the rear?
Should I go to a 305, or is the 315 ok?

I do not want to cut/roll fenders or anything like that. The car is pretty much a DD.

Thanks for all your help. I truly appreciate it.

The 1LE and ZL1 comes with 10" fronts and 11" rims in the rear, and I'm pretty sure the ZL1 comes with 315 tires as well. The wheels that come with those cars are the same +23/+43 offset.

That's a pretty popular combination as far as wheel sets go so you shouldn't have any issues at all.

The ZL1 has the same wheels but runs 305s. The 315s will fit perfectly - I have them and am lowered. No fitment issues

How much are you lowered? Springs or coil overs?

I also have the MRR228's with 275/315 combo with stock ride height. No issues at all.

Cool and thanks! I have been considering a BMR 1" drop for mine.

In other posts you mention the ride is a bit hard, but not overbearing-correct?

I am thinking I do something but undecided on the finish and style rim. The 21's I have have gotta go.

It's definitely stiffer, but, put it this way, my wife has not yet complained about it riding too rough. I would imagine dropping down to 20s will probably offset the stiffness a bit.
