Probably $150-200 if they do the alignment as well. Probably more like $200+
That'd be a good price IMO, a shop today quoted me $300-400 today in labor alone to install the springs, thats not including the $200 or more for the springs. I walked right outta there, lol!

alignment is a must. My buddy put drop springs in himself and his inner tread was shot after a couple months.

Google "installing 2010 camaro drop springs" or something of the like. There's a decently detailed guide on it. I'm contemplating doing it myself as well. Then you pay abougt $200 for the springs and then about $100 for alignment.

It depends on the shop and the hourly rate. Most places that do book rate are going to charge you 4 hours. Depending on where you live it could be $60/hr or $150/hr or anything in between.
If the shop goes by how fast they can do it, you might be quoted for two hours. Then you throw in the alignment cost. ...and make sure you get your bushing re-timed during the alignment. It makes all the difference in ride quality!! |

I paid $150.00 last month install of springs, had to buy camber kit FOR fronts $46.00 (napa), alignment plus install of camber kit was $129.00
If you pay over $200.00 just for spring install ur getting ripped off.

The correct way to set camber on a Camaro is with the camber set screw in the knuckle. It is a 10mm 1.5 thread. Any bolt in the shop will do for the adjustment. Once the camber is set the shop bolt can be removed. As mentioned earlier in the thread, spring swaps on these cars take about 3-4 hours if you're not familiar with the process. Add in the cost of an alignment on that assume you're probably looking at 200-300 dollar range. When you get the alignment done be sure to bring in your own specifications, the OEM has a pretty wide range of what's deemed acceptable. For best all around street performance take a look at our Performance Street alignment spec, it's a great balance of tire wear and improved street performance and is 100% achievable with the factory alignment hardware.
As mentioned earlier, a NAPA "Camber kit" is probably 50 bucks directly into the alignment shops pocket. Until you start getting really aggressive with negative camber there is plenty of camber adjustment for street tires. |
