ColorSHIFT Halos (SoCal)

I recently ordered the ColorSHIFT 2.0 Halo's from Oracle/AAC and just called 6 dealers in Southern California (San Diego to Santa Barbara) for quotes and here is what I got:
  • Ballistic Motosports (Santa Barbara) - $175 - Need the car for 5 hours.
  • Stereo Connection (North Hills) - $175 - Need the car for 5 hours.
  • Elite Motorsports (Fontana) - $350 - Need the car for 5 hours.
  • Darksyde (Temecula) - $449 - Need the car for 12 hours.
  • Antidote Performance (Anaheim) - $450 - Need the car for 2 days.
  • True Bliss (Reseda) - $449 - Need the car for 3 days.

Anyone have any thoughts, comments, suggestions...?

Stay away from the shops quoting $175. I've done this install 3 times, and there is NO way you can have the halos installed and wired in 5 hours.

edit: there is no way you can remove the bumper, remove the headlights, open the headlights, install the halos, reseal the headlights, reinstall the headlights, put the bumper back on, and wire up the halos.

I did mine in under five hours. Could probably do it faster now I know where all those pita bolts are hidden. But it definitely takes more time to reseal the lights.

I agree with Steiger. He hit the nail on the head with everything he said. From my experience with taking a bumper off, removing headlights, baking, opening, & sealing headlights, and install everything back, it will take around 28-30 hours. 24 hours is the cure time for the sealant on the headlights.

AAC. Although I hear you dont need to cut the lenses open, JDP does not appear to be nearly as bright as AAC.
