the wife of 15 years let me order my camaro on my b-day but only if i teach her to drive my six speed 2ss sim/rs, or she is going to send me to the couch for a month and not let me drive my baby. what should i do

teach her or rent one

if she let you order one than just teach!!! hell that will give you an excuse to upgrade the clutch a lil later on if you ever wanna mod it lol

just teach her, in all honesty its not that big of a deal for the clutch, plus you can always tell her it has to be properly broken in, and keep making excuses if you choose that route once you have it

Tell her now that you own a true muscle car, you will be making all the rules from now on out......and no.... my g/f says you can't sleep on our couch.

Get a new wife..

No way could I tell my hubby that he couldn't drive his new car that he has been waiting for..

On the other hand..You could teach her to drive the stick in about 15 minutes..That way you can keep the car and the wife..

Rent a car with a manual transmission and teach her on that. You'll both win, she gets taught, and you don't have to grimace at her tearing up your brand new tranny.

Gotta agree with that one! 13 years... wife still doesn't (can't) drive a clutch. You might think about letting someone else teach her... this thing can cause undo pressures on a marriage!!
