Private Offer - Need Help
Hi All. Well, I finally got a $1k private offer from the chevy website.
I am not sure when to play this card while negotiating and need help. Can you negotiate a new car price to invoice and then hit them with this $1k private offer to reduce my cost further? |

That's the way to do it. Don't mention it until after you negotiate your best price. Good luck!

Do not mention it until you are sure you have the best deal then give it to them. They are being reimbursed by GM so it's not costing the dealer.

If the dealer is smart they may actually check to see if you are on any manifest from GM marketing. It makes it look like they are doing something for you. It also helps them in setting you price because it is down payment. My last dealer did that and I already new I was on it.
