ZL1 spoiler on a 2022 LT1 convertible

I was thinking about not doing the stock spoiler on a 2022 LT1 convertible and adding the OEM ZL1 spoiler. Is that stupid?

I will be adding black gloss staggered ZL1 sized wheels. I think with Rapid blue it would cook great.

My dealer is working on getting an allocation for me when Rapid Blue comes off constraint.

Not joking. Thanks for your help.

IMO it isn't stupid at all, the standard ZL1 spoiler looks better than the SS spoiler, the very unassuming lip spoiler and waaay better than no spoiler Over time you may want to add front and side aero, too.

Cool, thanks. No, I like the tall ZL1 1LE spoiler better! My mistake.

I believe that all convertibles get the same stanchion spoiler with the internal radio antenna. Coupes use the rear defroster for the antenna. There are posts where people replaced the standard spoiler with a tall ZL1 spoiler and moved the antenna if you’re interested. As I recall they said the rear deck clears the tall spoiler by a fraction of an inch when you raise or lower the top.

The shark fin antenna is mounted on the trunk lid. It has nothing to do with the spoiler.
I think the only concern would be with stiffness of mounting points in the trunk lid

The Z convertible comes standard with a non Z spoiler (SS style) It has a built in antenna and a camera. The camera is the real issue, if you want a different spoiler on a vert… there’s really no other easy / reasonable place to install.
