Hello EpileptikRobot:
First and foremost welcome aboard and congratulations. Just a few opinions, it's clearly up to you to do what you want. I would so something to break up the white. It IS very clean and smooth (and White would have been an optional color choice for me if I couldn't have gotten Yellow) but it looks like it needs a little something. What I would do is instead of racing stripes on the hood, I would get those two stripes that you see on the front fender on an angle (driver side only). If you wanted something on the hood, maybe just those thin stripes that go on the edges of the raised area that act as a highlight for the raised area. One other thing I wanted to mention is that in the very first picture you posted (really neat view on the picture with that road you live near) the wheels practically get lost. Obviously, although they would look best, White wheels would be too troublesome to keep clean, but maybe rethink Black SS Wheels and give Silver (or even Chrome if they come that way) a chance. I just think you may like it better if you can see the wheels. Having said all of that, regardless of what you do...you will love your car as much as the rest of us love ours, so do what you like...what works for you...and beyond anything else...enjoy your Camaro to the fullest (that, being the easy part).

EpileptikRobot, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Wow thanks for all the love and ideas. I can already tell this is an awesome community.
Now to Address a couple things. I decided to do it when some friends said they wondered what it would look like without the flashy chrome "camaro" So naturally i looked into the forums and saw a bunch of threads on de-badging. Out of all the pics i saw i thought it looked REALLY nice without it. Next step i took was i took a pic of my car and photoshopped off the badge. i liked how it looked. Before and after Photoshop Quote:
And as for the Black SS rims ive had my heart set on them for a while. I just think silver SS rims are too common seeing as they are stock for an SS, dont get me wrong they look beautiful but i prefer black. Thanks a lot of the input, ive recently thought the very same. Hahaha its my dads work car. They are paying for his gas to drive to work so they can give him whatever they want. Hell he will drive a pink pinto if they pay for gas. |
