Exhaust Sound
Hey everyone! I have a 2013 Camaro SS with cold air intake and just recently had done a resonator delete straight piped back to Flowmaster Super 44 Series mufflers. Most of the time it sounds okay, but sometimes when I start my car, the exhaust makes a crappy popping sound at the end. It's hard to explain, so here is a link of it for reference: https://youtu.be/QyMagF8mdMY
Does anyone know what exactly might be causing this crappy popping sound and how to stop it? Thanks so much for your feedback! |

I like it too. But, I can see where your neighbors might get tired of the cold starts... especially if you leave really early in the morning.

I did the same but used super 10s instead of the 44s.

This is a tune issue... whether you're not getting enough air or fuel, not sure.

What the sound is, is unburned fuel in the exhaust burning off. You can get it tuned out mostly, but even stock LS3 cars have developed pop.
