My Turn Signals...

Okay, I got my 2002 Camaro back out of storage about 3 weeks ago. About a week ago, my blinkers on the inside (both the left side and right side) would blink like they were dying. Like "blink..... blink blink blink" almost like it was dying. This would reflect on the lights outside as well. Whatever sequence blinked on my dash, would blink on the outside the same.

So today, I go and use my signals, and neither side works. The ones on the inside don't turn on, or click at all. My hazards work completely fine though, and all the lights are lit up. The hazard lights light up on the inside too.

What should I do? I never realized how important turn signals are.

And it's not a fuse. My fuses are all fine.

Sounds like a bad bulb. Check all the bulbs and did you change any recently? I put one in backwards once and it acted like that. An incorrect bulb may do the same thing.

I'd start by replacing the bulbs.

Check the plastic housings that the bulbs are in...see if they are melted and/or the base of the bulb is melted. My 2002 has done this on both sides and the signals acted really wierd before I figured it out the first time (one day they'd blink fast, then they'd go out, then they'd work again, etc.)

If the bulbs and housings are good then it may be the signal switch. Just had to replace mine as it was doing something similar. Boy was that a pain.

Send a message via Yahoo to TFord
replace your front turn signals/Daytime running lights and that should fix it.
