new LS, fog light and stripes help

OK...so I finally bought a 2012 Camaro LS, cyber gray 6 spd....car came with the stock 20's and a CAI (injen) already installed. I think I got a steal on the car. My first question is about installing the foglights. I tried to search the forums, but couldn't find a specific answer. Does the car come pre-wired for the fogs and all I have to do is pop out the black covers and install some factory (or OEM) equivalent fogs, or do I have to wire the fogs? What did other LS owners with no fogs do? Second question, what color rally stipes and where's a good place to order them from - I don't trust some of the stuff I see on Ebay. I was thinking maybe silver of light gray stripes... Thanks for the answers everyone.

here's how I got my fogs.
There are cheaper alternitives. But I liked the LED bulbs that came with this set plus you don't have to cut your LS stock bezels.

nice looking car btw, congrats!

Also I got these hood spears and my chrome gill stripes off of ebay. The look great and were very cheap. Just make sure you get a quality vinyl like 3M

It's not pre-wired, but many kits come with wiring. I bought a Tahoe kit off eBay, which are the exact same lights. The kit came with the wiring harness. I also bought fog bezels instead of trying to cut the blanks that came with the car.
Check out some of the install videos on YouTube. The whole thing took me about 15 minutes.

Thanks for the links and ideas.... I think I know which direction I'll go with the fog lights.....but what about those stripes? Any pics of a cyber gray with the orange stripes? I might just stick with the gray/silver stripes. Thanks again for all of the advice. AND YES.....The Toyota decal is gone.

OP, a couple of things to consider, if you haven't already:
  • That car didn't come from the factory with 20" wheels. This means that either your speedometer and odometer will be reading wrong, or the car has been tuned to compensate for the change in wheel diameter.
  • If the car was tuned, you will run into warranty issues. Your 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty is likely voided. I see the window sticker has the "Warranty" box checked, but the Toyota dealer may not have checked for a tune. If your transmission craps out at 50,000 miles, you may be SOL as far as a warranty claim goes.
Sorry to be a downer, but wanted to give you a heads-up. Hope you're enjoying the car, and welcome!

not true, the overall diameter is the same which means it is not reading wrong. You do not need to get a tune to fix it. If that was the case it would throw codes and the traction control and stabil a trac would not be working.
Factory 2010 Camaro SS tires and wheels
Front 245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0 wheel
Rear 275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0 wheel
18" Tires for 2010 Camaro
245/55-18 = 28.6" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
