Heritage Grill
Can you post some heritage grill pictures? Preferably on a red convertible, but any color will work. Trying to decide if I should get one, and if it should be painted to match the factory red or matte black.

Have you looked at ShopChevyParts.com. They have them already painted to match the factory colors and pics with them.

Thanks for the replies guys. My question to those of you that have it- I have a V6. Would I need to change the lower grill as well? Should I change it?
Also, any idea how much it would cost for a dealership to paint it and install it? |

I think the lower grille goes fine with it. I think painted grilles go for around $400 might be cheaper to buy one painted. Check out rivercity they sell the painted version

It isn't red but, to me the Heritage Grill makes the car look finished.

Thanks guys! If I were to buy one used off this forum, any idea how much it would cost to have a dealership paint and install it?

Check the classifieds by owner section of the forum...that's where I found mine. Also check eBay, they sell them already painted. Around $300. BRAND NEW SHIPPED. As for the install, its doable with a little patience and they give you instructions. However if you are not mechanically inclined, check your local body shop. They do it for a living and might be cheaper than a dealership. Most labor rates are at least $100 and figure @ least 1-1/2 to 2 hours.......
Also check craigslist, you'll be surprised what you find. |

I painted, modified, and installed this one myself. The install isn't too bad. I could do one in probably 45 minutes at this point.

Here is another option ... I went with a black painted Heritage on a SIM. I felt that the ones with body matched painted grille (at least on the SIM) the front end looks kinda "squished" down a bit. I liked the gloss black look.
