So i am going to guess that you do NOT currently have a USB port.....is this correct?

the link you posted has EVERYTHING you need to install the PDIM and the usb port, it has the harnesses. after they are installed, than you have to have your system flashed.

IF you already have the pdim/usb port are just buying this PDIM as an upgrade to get a newer version of the Hardware/Software, then all you need is the PDIM (GM P/N #22797218)....Then just swap out the two PDIM's and you are ready to go as its a total P-N-P no flash is required.

If you end up just buying the module I have the wire harness and outlets that go in console.

Amazon.com has just the module only, was looking at it myself to upgrade my existing PDIM
The important thing is if you are going to go through this is to be sure to get the PDIM with part number 22797218.

I just purchased this from shopchevyparts.com, as they currently have the lowest price around for this kit. I plan on doing the install myself, then taking it to my dealer for the software upgrade.

The 2nd one I cannot tell IF you are actually getting the 22797218 PDIM module. The one from Amazon you are definitely getting the 22797218 module but I know know if you are getting the harness and plug in jacks.

TheShowStopperLFX, for reasons unknown to us, AND some of the folks at Chevrolet Customer Svc, they have not updated the PDIM data base in a LONG time, thus soime dealers will only install what they see in the data base and nothing more. Actually they look at it as a safety net, so if something goes wrong, they won't be at fault. We got the P/N (22797218) from a previous Chevrolet Customer Service rep here on the forum. it WILL work in your car, and will give you the latest/greatest HW/SW versions available. which is DB/DD the P/N you are looking to get will get you the DB/DB HW/SW versions. I did this upgrade nearly two and a half years ago....and my dealer doesn't have their head up someones butt.....thus they installed the 22797218 P/N inder warrante and I have haver had an issue, AND it fixed all of my problems. Here is a screen shot of my cars display.

Oh well $97 to get rid of this issue.
