LLT break in
So as of Thursday of this week my baby will have gone through heart surgery and will have a brand new LLT crate motor with 0 miles. I've never owned a new car before and have always bought used so I've never been through a motor break-in period.
What is the best process for this? Amount of driving? Oil Changes? Things to Avoid? Let me know guys I wanna do this right. |

An engineer advised me to keep it running up t 4 hrs to temper the block and vary the throttle, taking it on a drive up and down hills.
I did this the first day and my LLT has been rock solid so far.

1000 miles or so, keep the RPM's under 4k? No heavy throttle or engine breaking either.
