It looks suprisingly similar to a SS with 20x9's all the way around.

looking at pics of the stock 20's with the rears all the way around, you can't see a difference. I am, but I don't have any pics let. and yes I have a 2LT

here are some great pics that Michael_j took of his car and he has been running the 20 x 9's for about a year now.

i was more concerned about how far the front wheels will stick out in comparision to the front bumper since its not as wide on the 6 as it is on the 8...and michael_j's camaro looks nice with the 9's all the way around

I have 20x10's all the way around with 275/40's and a 40mm offset. I never was much of a fan of the staggered look and I like it much better with the same track width on the front and rear. They do NOT stick out of the front wheel well at all.

with the REAR stock 20's on the front.....you really can't see the difference, as stated, they do NOT stick out at all. and BTW....the Track Width is the same for the V6 and the V8.....63.7"

Are the pirellis directional or just have to be mounted with the one side out? I almost would be tempted to just put 245 all the way around if it didn't affect handling, I think those tires would be cheaper, lol and i could rotate them.

NO, they are NOT directional......they only have to be mounted with the one side out.

I am sure you could......but WHY? it would throw your Speed off by 3.8%....when you would be running 60 mph by your speedo, you would REALLY be going 62.3 mph.

I tried to have my Chevy service guys do rear wheels all the way around. Got all my rear Pirellis (stock brand) from Tire Rack and had a new set of rims in the attic. So I took my tires and 2 new rear rims to them to get them mounted on the front. Well, they put two new tires on the rears, but then called me and said because of liability reasons, they would not put them on the front too. They said they were no more than a pinky finger's width away from my suspension. I argued that others have been doing it with no rubbing issues, but they said they couldn't do it. I'm going to take it somewhere else Monday morning for a 2nd opinion. If it's still an issue, I'll have to contact Tire Rack and tell them I need to send them back and get traditional front sizes.
Also, I really wanted the Continental tires Tire Rack lists for the car, but they are on back order past the end of the year.
