Which clutch are you big HP guys runnin?
So what is avail out there for 600+ rwhp cars, eventually will be up to 750+ in a year of so.
What are you running and how do you like it. My car is not a DD and I dont plan on taking it to the strip too often.

Bull...
I'm running the ACT twin disc rated for 1400 ft/lbs and it's SFI rated... Had a little trouble with it at first, but after ACT made an adjustment to it, It's awesome...

For the 2010+ Camaro, Monster is our best selling brand of single disc clutch: http://www.tickperformance.com/brand...er-Clutch.html
...and if you're interested in stepping up to a Twin Disc, the LS9X by Katech is what I'd suggest for your setup: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...utch-Kit-.html We've gotten very good feedback from customers using both Monster's higher level of single disc clutches, and the LS9X! Best of luck. |

I have an RHS/Hendrix twin carbon clutch in my car.....it is bar none the best clutch I have ever driven in a high horsepower car. It drives better than stock, no chatter or slipping of any kind and takes 4k rpm launches like it were candy.
That's 4k RPM launches with a Whipple so...probably 600 ft/lbs of torque at launch on a 4k lb car. It's expensive.....but it's an install it and forget about it clutch. |

I really HATE to give up my M6 but the direction I am going the 4L80 just makes more sense. I ordered it up from RPM today...to quote them...this is the baddest of the bad when it comes to an 80e. Best of everything they sell. Huffer2.0 is going to be disgusting... tranny is just the beginning. |

Exactly, i thought i was set to go with monster then i read about a few issues with them. Again, who knows whats really going on. This is why i am asking all you guys here what else is out there.
There are probably hundreds of Monsters out there but you only read about the one or two that have issues. Anyway, my current HP at the flywheel (740) exceeds even the level 5 from monster. I will eventually have about 900 to 1000 at the flywheel and want to plan for that.

I have the LPE ZR-1 clutch. It hasn't given me any issues at 625 rwhp at all for about 30,000+ miles. I am having a Forged 417 installed and should make around 750 rwhp. I will see how it holds up with that HP.
