I recommend 10+ ribs for more than 10 psi,8.5 should be fine.

We run a real tight lobe seperation.

I wonder if the vettes have a different accessory drive set up vs the Camaro. TVS's in trucks seem to have more trouble with belt slip. I was tempted to go to 10psi, but made more than enough power at 8.5. Might grenade more than a few parts at those levels.

My blower cam is on a 115LSA and I thought that was tight compared to most blower cams. Somebody with time and $ needs to do a comprehensive cam test with the TVS blowers. That would be interesting. I've seen 110 to 121 with everyone saying their cam made good power with a maggie on top.

I'll second that...kinda aggravates me....I've not really seen a cam NOT make power on the TVS. Seems like most are around the same power level. I'd definitely pay to see a test of about 5 (or 10) grinds on a 6.2L with TVS on an engine dyno, to see what "general" duration and LSA seems to produce the best results.

If you talk to Magnuson, they will tell you the GT2-3 cam does a good job. That's as far as they go for a cam recommendation. That cam is so close to the stock LS3 cam that it wouldn't be worth the time or money to swap.

I have use that cam in the past and it works..that was pre Ls3 days though.

We have a cam specific for the LS3 heads now that is just perfect.

I think the 3.8 will give you between 6 - 7 and the 3.6 is more like 8 lbs ..

thanks,
Crowley
