Any 1/2 mile events coming anywhere near Chicago? I really don't want to drive 9 hours to some of the other ones.

Last one I remember was the wannagofast one a few summers ago at an airstrip south of the city.

Rantoul Illinois May 20/21 is a half mile event hosted by Omega Motorsports

I signed up for the 20th at Rantoul.

Now it would be cool if someone did a mile event around here.
