Mid Engine Corvette spotted again

http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...-upgrades.html

The mid engine Corvette has come back out of hiding. The padded camo is still on but the proportions look good.

I know the camo is very misleading but one word (actually two) comes to mind when I look at that picture...... El Corvette.

I have doubts of Chevy using twin turbo v6.. If they go turbo, bet it's a v8.

I hate it. I don't know why. I know it's irrational. I'm sorry.

About time. I can't wait to see the mid-engine C8 dominating at Le Mans.

Hence the reason I prefaced with "camo being misleading". But my initial perception is the rear deck on the Vette appears to be considerably longer and more flat than the Lamborghini you linked.

I've been trying to figure it out and it finally came to me this morning. The lines/proportions under all that camouflage remind me of a 1st gen NSX.
