I just saw this. This is a great product and pretty easy to install with perfectly matching paint! There are plenty of YouTube videos to assist, take your time. I’m not a big fan of the tape but it work well for many years. I installed these in July of 2015 and recently a couple of corners came loose so cleaned them well and dabbed a little epoxy on the inside of them and we’re good to go.

Looks out of place to me. Especially with the fake back fender ones that come factory.

You are not alone on these. I installed lights behind mine though.

I like them, and think they enhance the looks of the car. Everyone has their opinion.
Hey guys - can you share the specifics on what you used as lighting and how it is mounted? That is a great idea!

I used Geeon Red 12V Car LED Interior Light Strips 12''/30CM rom Amazon and connected them to my marker lights. They're adhesive backed and can be cut to length as needed.

And the best part is how the car sounds after installing the vents, they're amazing

Thanks Badfinger, that saves any guesswork. I assume you just cut off or spliced into the the cig lighter power cord and hard wired to the side markers? I am not sure what color to choose, so since they are inexpensive, I would go with the Multi color. Might also put these in my hood vents.

I used pretty much the same thing. These lights are bright. I think I ended up with about half of the strip to get the brightness I wanted. I wired mine to my side markers as you mentioned.

I don't like it. I like stealthy smooth solid front side fender panels with no mods.

If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring life. To each their own.
