I negotiated in heated leather. A shop close to the dealer pulled the cloth off and did nice factory like work.

I located a Summit White 2020 2SS convertible with 12k miles not too far away. Has red interior and everything except the manual. They are asking $42k. Car looks great. Thought about offering $40. Trying to find out but it may also include a clearbra which is nice. One Owner car.

You sound like you “may be” jumping into things a bit…you have or had a 2SS 1LE on order, then a LT1 caught your eye and now a convertible 2SS. I’ve been in that car buyers mode (many times)… sometimes it’s good to take a step back and re-evaluate what’s important. You’re losing a decent amount of warranty and probably some tire rubber on the latest car, which may or may not be important to you. None of these cars have a stick..you sure you want the Auto?? Just my thoughts..

I would consider an LT1 in place of an SS, but not this particular LT1, because of the $2,565 redline package, which is useless. Also I wouldn't waste $995 on a sunroof unless I actually wanted one.

This particular LT1 has been loaded up to the point that it's almost at SS price, without the performance advantages of the SS, namely tires and brakes.

I actually agree here, considering the car market is only going to get softer in 2023, I think waiting is the right plan.

Immediate gratification, or exactly what you want?

I'm quite happy with my current Camaro as it was exactly what I wanted at the time, right down to the color.

I hope to get a new ZL1 1LE M6 before they go away.

It's probably not in the works since I owe my wife a new car this summer and my youngest daughter one next summer, but if I can make it work I'll hold out for exactly what I want.

Not an antitode, but go rent one if you feel like you have an itch you just can't scratch.

How about some truth serum?

Auto prices are just starting to moderate. As well, and around me, I’m starting to see cars and trucks sit a bit longer on the lots. With that said, prices and loan values are at historic highs, even with interest rates rising. Online car retailers are in a liquidity pickle(s), and more likely than not, some people holding huge notes on their cars will have to surrender their new vehicles, or have their cars taken from them. So, right now may be an even worse time than even a few months ago, to buy a car (and lets not forget it’s winter time, not the best for sports car sales). Be patient… I’m going to have my eyes pealed for deals when they come around…

This one has the first gen Ground Effects package on it, I think that is about a $2300 option... Plus from what I can see, NPP, Red Calipers, Blackout package (black mirrors and spoiler)... Seems like a pretty good price for a convertible with those options...

I haven’t come across anything remotely close to that in price for a 2SS vert.

Yeah, such a good price would make me wonder a bit, I would definitely check the CarFax and make sure it wasn't in an accident...

That’s the first thing I did. CARFAX is clean. That’s how I found out it was at Clearbra installer.

Well then, that is a very good price considering all it has on it...
