The "resonated x-pipe" is just a muffler with an x-pipe inside rather than a typical straight pipe. You'll need the muffler and tips and then the muffler shop should be able to do the rest for you. The muffler has 2.5" inlets and outlets and the V6 factory exhaust will be 2.5" where the new muffler starts but 2.25" at the outlets, so the shop will need a couple of reducers to adapt; likewise if your tips are 2.5" inlets you will need reducers for them too, or just buy 2.25" inlet tips if you can find some (2.5" may be more common), or you can replace all the pipe with 2.5" like I did

I have a 15 1lt rs with the npp exhaust. I had the factory h-pipe and resonater cut out replaced with a nonresonated x-pipe and made a mild to wild switch so i have the exhaust flaps open all the time and it keeps better with time. No drone no rasp, only an occasional vibration when driving like a grandpa and it goes away by letting off throttle or getting on throttle. In the future ima try something else similar to the op
