Mods

I have roughly about 500$, I was wondering what are the best mods for 500$( suspension and motor) and under for the v6? I already have a catch can and cold air intake. Any suggestions?

Find a reputable speed shop a get a dyno tune, and check into the E-85 option. It may cost another 150-200, for E-85. You may want to check into Overkill tune. Will at Overkill does remote running with data logging and retunes for as long as you own your car. He also offers the E-85 option for 200. The data logging tune with unlimited retunes as long as you own your car is 500. You'll get between 15-25 rwhp gain with the tune. A tune with the E-85 option will get you close to 300rwhp or slightly over. These are your best performance gains option. Anything else, throttlebody, exhaust, downpipes, manifold porting and spacers will add 5-6 rwhp or less each. So it depends on what you want for your money,hp gains or better sounding exhaust?

I would say the tune with the E-85 option is your biggest gain. Once you have your first mod on, whatever it is, you have a cold air in take, any other mod other than a real overwrite tune, only adds between 1-5 or 6 rwhp. Most are only 2-3. A ported throttlebody body or a larger TB, like the Overkill 80mm TB, will add between 5-7 rwhp. If you want more power, and who doesn't,a tune with the E-85 option will get you 35-45 hp gain, depending on if you have a manual or auto transmission, and the other boltons you have.

I'd say save up another couple hundred bucks and get a 100 shot nitrous .

yeah i looked into that but i don't plan to run straight line so id like to not have to worry about using the nitrous up, although they do have some serious gains!
