I watch both. Pawn Stars is interesting b/c you actually learn about history, antiques, etc on that show. Plus the guys are hilarious! Chumlee cracks me up!

Hardcore Pawn is good b/c its so dramatic and entertaining to watch. Sometimes you need to watch shows like that so your life doesnt seem so crazy, lol!

It also denotes how far from Detriot's downtown you are. (There are a bunch of # mile roads in Detriot).

As mentioned - both shows are heavy scripted & tend to exaggerate to the extreme, aka Reality TV!

If you watch closely, some angry customers on Hardcore Pawn are "mike'd".....and most of the odd-ball stuff of value coming through the doors on Pawn Stars is pre-staged.

Lizard Lick, Operation Repo, Storage Hunters are scripted scenes w/actors.....

but members its on trueTV, 90% of what they show are reinactments.

Like those towing shows, not one is real, real stories, real people, fake re-po's re done for TV.

Hmmmmm, having visited both locations, I find that PawnStars is more scripted for TV vs HardCore Pawn is raw in your face reality

Like how did that half retard brently show up in a POS truck, and by the end of the show, its a show truck. Were suppose to belive he did all this after work but the guy can't tie his own shoes.

Pawn Stars is more interesting to watch usually, but its also scripted and proven to be fake.
