Staying Stock- Am I the Only One?
First off let me say Bravo to those of you who have turned you're Camaro into HP machines pushing 500HP and more. I’ll admit- I get kind of jealous of those numbers. I just wonder how many people are like me and going to keep the car stock (that’s my current plan, but then again my 04 Ram was just going to be my daily driver and has turned into much more). While I watch vehicles like Darth_Emma’s and drool at what she has turned her Camaro into, I wonder for me if my 2SS A6 is just fine as it is? Am I the only one that figured what came from the factory is good enough? I’ve never had a sports car so this is a whole new experience to me, and as I near my car’s first birthday, I have to say I’m loving the Camaro world! Maybe I’m just too much of a newb to see what my Camaro can be down the road?

You wonder if it's fine as is. Sounds like you want to add some things. Just do whatever makes you happy, don't need to compare yours to others.

Give it time and you'll change your mind.
Well at least an exhaust to give your SS a real muscle car sound. |

no need to do just what others have done
Im not changing that much to be honest. A CAI for the performance and looks, and a hurst shifter for my creature comfort. All IM doing performance wise to be honest. maybe some 4:10 gears but thats about it do what YOU want to do, dont just try to keep up with the joneses. they always win |

We have had our's little over a year and it's still stock except the tires, needed some kind of upgraded winter tires. I would like to hear the motor a little better but for now stock is the way it will stay.
I was thinking maybe I was the only one |

I always thought that I could keep it stock but this forum tempted me too much. If you can resist though that is awesome. I definitely wouldn't compare yours to others because there will always be some camaro that has something nicer, no matter how much you mod your car. So basically, kudos to you for keeping it stock!

She will probably be stock for a while after I get her. May invest in a CAI and higher flow exhaust, but no supercharger or turbo for me. Might get her a tune after the warranty is up.

First it starts with exhaust just to make it sound meaner....then comes the headers to make it sound even more meaner and to give it a slight power gain....then comes the supercharger...next thing you know you blow 15+k into the car

My 1LT RS will remain stock with the exception of a K&N Air Filter and aftermarket RS floor mats. While I appreciate the individuality of all the moded Camaros, I prefer the stock appearance from the factory for all my Camaros. Just do what you want to do, it's your Camaro.

Mine will remain stock. The way I ordered mine makes it a rare item anyways. No need to mod. Oops! Do the Chevypartsplus floor mats count as a mod?

It is good to keep it stock for a while just to figure out what exactly you want to do, it is a beast as is and you should not compare your car with others you will not be satisfied no matter what you do
