Here's mine.. It's the original CAI version, but it is the all black version of it. I like the solid black as it compliments the coloring under the hood.

Bill do you see any airflow, performance, tuning issues with shortening the tube like the one member here modded to fit his E-Force (which looks great imho.) Looks like you have to remove a good portion of the tube. One issue is don't want to do the washer fluid bag mod he posted. However, not sure if there is room for the standard container filler neck with the filter now tilted quite a bit forward with the tube mod. It looks like that might be the way to go so I can keep the intake on the car. Going to run it by the installer and see what they say.

We have done no testing on that set-up and therefore cannot give an educated response to technical quetions or reccomend what he has done. He seems happy with the modification but we can't reccomend doing it or say whether or not it will help/hurt anything without doing testing on our end. We have done no engineering or testing for that application as of this time.

Thanks Bill for the reply. The more I think about it and get feedback from those here in the know, it shouldn't cause any issues as long as a custom tune is done after and not beforehand Should still work better than the "half" stock box used with the E-Force.
