Cool! I was considering the SC route but Geico (my current insurance company) won't insure it and the other couple of insurance companies I checked with wanted me to sign a separate casualty rider or something like that.

Only if you tell them. See if there is a clause in your policy about modifying your car. I think it may only apply if 1) It makes the car non-street legal, 2) If you tell them. I know one time I wrecked my car, got it fixed and the insurance actually covered an intake system and other goodies I had on the car as long I showed them a receipt.

Some of You guys need better (higher end) insurance companies. Saving a few bucks may turn out to bite you in the ass. My policy covers my Bogarts to the nitrous bottle. As long as its documented its covered. I don't expect everyone to be able to get coverage like that but there are similar coverages available.

Thanks guys appreciate most of the comments here

We'll be doing a full pictorial on Birm's car with the installation and of course dyno video. The lift guys are here right now tightening down the last bolts on the lift & dyno so we'll be good to go. We're going to start on the methanol kit today, due to UPS with holidays the ECS kit will be here Wednesday but still on track to get er done this week.

Oh and insurance-wise, I just switched to Heacoc Classic insurance. Dropped my premium almost $1600 over Geico, and I'm insured for $68000 assessed value like Jaime said from my supercharger to my Weld's. However, this is secondary insurance you need to prove you have a primary driver car.

Oh and Birm it's FSP !!! It should have been FPS but that's another story of Matt not paying attention to when he registered the name!
