You realize that the car is 22 years old and with metal fatigue and all the problems that the car has that it is not going to be an easy fix.

You will probably have as much or more into this car then what you would if you just bought one off the lot that did not have anything wrong with it?

It looks to be a nice straight Z/28 IROC Camaro.

I would say the tinted windows and stuff tells me that a young person had it and beat the crap out of it and now would like to sell it for as much as possible.
The car probably has a local history and nobody in his neighborhood would buy it because they know what he put it through.

A person I knew had one just like it when it was new. Same story...
The adopted grandfather once told me that he bought a new set of tires with a road hazard warranty and sat out in front of the house and did burn outs.
When the grandfather asked him why he did that, he said because the tires were guaranteed for 36,000 miles.
The grandfather had to explain to the boy that although the tires had a guarantee - they were not guaranteed to last 36,000 miles if you burned them off the rims.
That is was abuse and not covered under the warranty.

Most young kids that got those cars for first or second cars usually beat the crap out of them. 22 years later, you might find that it needs a whole lot more then what the article says it does.

You wouls have to go and see it in person and run a car fax on it and if you know a good mechanic bring him with you. I had an '88 like that one an dI loved it would love to have another just like it . tooo far away from here for me.
