Side thought: Id be happy with a 330hp 5.3L (roughly 327) L33 aluminum truck motor in a 1LE esque stripper car on aluminum18s if they priced it under the SS. A starter v8 for those who like to mod but have a smaller budget and dont need 500hp but hate how the 6s sound.

Im sure anything new will be well above the SS benchmark though. Slam away.

Try a GMC Terrain or Chevy Equinox among others

Exposed carbon fiber hood insert

Maddmark54

My intial order accepted January 5th was with the exposed carbon fiber hood insert. 2 1/2 weeks went by and my dealership was told they were on constraint and if I wanted the car, I would have to change my order to the flat black. I contacted Chevy, recieved a case number, and was contacted by phone. The first rep assigned had no power to do anything and I was assigned a district rep. This rep initialy told me she looked forward to working with me. She told me she would call me back after investigating. When she called back, she told me I can take the car the way it is, or give up my allocation. ( I put a deposit down 2 1/2 years ago) I asked her what happened to working with me? I explained that "the carbon fiber insert has a projected price of over 2000.00 dollars and that it it's unfair that I should have to pay any more than the 600.00 option price, on an option that was initially accepted by the factory. It's not my fault that Chevy has a problem with their supplier. All I ask is for you guys to be fair with me." I had thought that Chevy would do something to work with me, but so far, no solution, no working with me, no nothing. They sell #1, #2, and number 69 to Hendricks, but they can't make good on this? I guess the little guy doesn't matter.

My Traverse has the back up camera in the mirror. It is helpful but I have long ago learned to use my mirrors driving a truck and I seldom use the camera.

A nice 8" color screen would be really nice for a camera (and DVD's and NAV)

This response got me quite excited:

"John Fitz - Camaro Marketing Mgr:
Scott Koscik - yes, the 50 festival cars are included in the 500, as well as some vehicles for the Canadian market."

What are the Canadian market only cars?
