7.50 psi max boost. To tell you the truth it still is not enough power. Problem is the tires are 26.5" tall and it takes a lot of hp to turn those monsters. Next step is to put 4.10 gears in the rear. I removed the huge 30 pound factory exhausts and installed SLP Loudmouth ll axle back exhaust. Headers, H pipe and cats are next.

I understand there is a inter-cooler.

I'm just saying that the location will be sucking in hot air. . . If relocated it would be sucking in "less hot" air, thus letting the IC reduce the air temp more than now.... and giving more HP.

Problem is that there is no other place to put the air intake filter. I fabbed up a s.s. heat shield that keeps the manifold heat away from the filter. Seems to work quite well so far although it has been 90 degrees and humid the past week or so.

The Vortech setup may be similar in some aspects, but the Vortech will not be drawing hot air from over the exhaust manifolds. See below.

They will let us all know as soon as they know.

I would expect about 550 RWHP on 8 psi boost.

Ted.

So the car was running an SLP LM II AB in addition to the 7.5 psi boost? Great numbers. It seems like a lot of these SC numbers are very close, when all the mods' are similar. It'd be interesting to see how the numbers compare when increasing boost and also see how much heat is a factor.
