Getting disappointed in my camaro ss

I have a 14 camaro ss, did cam and valve train, header, and cold air induction, 3600 stall and been tune by a very good guy. I am getting really disappointed in this car with all the money i am throwing at it to just to get beat or keeping up with by a 4 cylinder or a rotary car that have all most nothing done to them. Pissing me off!!!!!

try removing the traction control. If you start spinning the brakes will start locking. Hopefully you can see a difference. I have a s/c ls3 and I'm all over the road from launch but see me on the fwy on 3rd gear and it's game over!!!

Sounds like you arent very experienced when it comes to racing. I would start looking on upgrading the "owner mod".

What are all the mods on car? What are the cam specs? Who help you put the car together? Who tuned it?

Just cause some one tells you they dont have a lot of work done, doesnt mean its true. Cars dont even hqve to make a lot of power if the car is light amd has the owner mod.

Some of these 4cyl Ricers are running in the low 11 to high 10's especially on juice (NOS). Back in the late 80's, lost real bad to an Mazda RX-2 on NOS with my 67 GTO that was a solid 13.2 @105MPH car which was considered very quick at the time. Don't underestimate some of these 4 bangers.

Sorry to here your troubles , I only have a CAI intake ,muffler delete and a stage 2 clutch and they can't keep up with me. I even let them get in front of me sometimes and I ride their tail in fourth them jam on the peddle just to show them they got nothing. Can't wait for your upgrades!!! Buy wider more sticky tires and possibly lower ride height and or weight reduction. Keep in mind rotory motors have serious power and those cars weight close to nothing compared to ours. Keep the faith.

Something about this storey doesn't jive.. .I can understand running into a sleeper truck or honda. .....but to lose against eveyone? Sorry op but I am not getting the same results as you. I think the trouble is your driving...not your car. You already talked with pro stock john about traction issues. So are you just getting beat ? Or are you getting beat by the way the car hooks. I'm thinking once you get your traction issues to go away so will your disappointment. And how in the hell can a diesel truck with a load on keep up with you.

Lol, my driving is good and I am glad that people here just put me down and say you suck at life it looks like . Having no traction is my problem. So all I hear around where I live is that I suck and that I am slow. So I am glad that the camaro group I thought I was in thinks the same way it look like and it is not a group I won't to be in so thank and have a good day I am out.

Lol...im sure you don't suck at life.....just traction. You have been to the track....and you ran.....a 15 second time because you lit them up right. You are making good power to not be running down most vehicles. You need drag radials if you don't have them already.
